Why do I need a Will?

The majority of people put off making a Will for a variety of reasons, usually believing that the people they would wish to inherit will automatically do so.

Who needs a Will?

Everyone. It really is that simple. In particular anyone with dependant children under 18, or elderly relatives with a disability. Anyone who has property or any other assets.

What happens if I do not make a Will?

This is called dying intestate. There are intestacy laws which set out who will inherit and by how much.

Reality

The reality is all sorts of problems can arise for the people you leave behind. Some or all of your inheritance could end up with the wrong person or to the state.

Will everything not just go to my partner,children or parents?

In a nut shell, no. This is dependant on the size of your estate if you have not made a Will.
